Class Tasks

Shared task boards for school trips, project weeks and staff meetings — shared via a link. Deliberately kept in a separate database, apart from the grades.

Boards

Create a board with a name, your display name (which the others see) and one of twelve colours.
Duplicate, leave or delete boards. Leaving a shared board removes it from your device only — the others keep their data, and you can rejoin later.

Tasks

Title and details, an assignee (a board member or nobody), a priority — normal, important, urgent —, a due date and a reminder as a notification on your device.
The board separates open from done. Every tile shows who created it, who is responsible and who ticked it off.

Sharing

Sharing works via a link on the “anyone with the link” principle — just as in Apple Notes or Reminders.
The sync status is always visible: synchronised, in progress, or how many changes are still pending.
Without iCloud the module keeps working — marked local: the data then stays on this device.

How it connects

Deliberately none. The boards live in their own database and their own iCloud area. Only task fields are transferred — structurally no grades, no student records, no attachments. What you share here cannot accidentally contain student data.

What it deliberately does not do

There are no roles. Anyone holding the link can read and edit the board — a read-only role does not exist. So pass the link only to people you trust with it.
Do not enter students' real names in shared boards. The separation from the grades is technically guaranteed; what you type into a text field yourself, of course, is not.
Sharing requires active iCloud sync. Without iCloud the board stays local.
After a share is revoked, content that was already synchronised may remain as a local copy on other participants' devices until it is removed there.
